How to Use the Mouse Click Speed Test (CPS)

This free, client-side Click Speed Test measures your CPS (Clicks per Second). Pick a duration, then click/tap as quickly as possible. Your best CPS and last 10 runs are saved locally in your browser—nothing is uploaded.

  1. Choose duration: 1, 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds.
  2. Start: Click Start or simply click/tap the big pad to auto-start.
  3. Click fast: Click/tap repeatedly. You can also press Space or Enter.
  4. Read results: See total clicks, live CPS, and final CPS. Your best score updates automatically.
  5. History: Review your last 10 results. Use Copy to share a quick summary.

Scoring & Fairness

  • Live CPS: clicks ÷ elapsedSeconds while the timer runs.
  • Final CPS: totalClicks ÷ duration when time ends.
  • Timer uses high-resolution timestamps; clicks are counted on pointer down or key press.

Tips

  • Use a duration that matches your goal (1s for burst speed, 10–30s for endurance).
  • On touch devices, tap with one finger; multi-touch may not improve CPS.
  • To prevent accidental menus, right-click is disabled in the click area.
